Established in 2008 as a sole proprietorship operating across Sabah, Sarawak, and Peninsular Malaysia, EKF Industrial Supplies Sdn. Bhd. was officially incorporated in 2016, with its headquarters originally in Kuala Lumpur before relocating to Penang in 2020. EKF specialises in the research and development of steel slag (industrial by-product) and in the import, distribution, and technical representation of green building materials, with a primary focus on eco-friendly abrasives for industrial surface preparation. In 2020, EKF registered the trademark Premier Sharpshot Abrasive® (PSA) and, in 2021, became its Product Principal, producing and commercialising PSA as a low-cost, safe, and sustainable alternative to conventional sandblasting abrasives. Today, EKF operates actively across Peninsular and East Malaysia, serving major industries nationwide while expanding steadily into ASEAN markets.
