On behalf of the Building Materials Distributors Association of Malaysia (BMDAM), I extend my sincere appreciation for your continued support and interest in our Association.

It is a privilege and honour to serve as President of BMDAM for the 2026–2028 term. I am grateful for the trust and confidence placed in me, and I look forward to working together with our members as we continue to strengthen the Association and support the growth of our industry.

This year is particularly meaningful as BMDAM celebrates its 50th Golden Jubilee. Since our establishment in 1976, the Association has grown steadily through the dedication, commitment and support of our members, past leaders and industry partners. Their contributions have helped shape BMDAM into a respected industry association representing building materials distributors throughout Malaysia.

Today, BMDAM represents more than 190 members nationwide. The continued growth of our membership reflects the value of a strong industry association and the importance of having a collective voice for our industry.

BMDAM’s Vision is to be the most respected voice of the building materials distribution industry in Malaysia. Guided by this vision, we remain committed to representing the interests of our members, encouraging industry collaboration, promoting professionalism and contributing positively to the development of the building materials and construction sector.

Looking ahead, BMDAM will continue to engage constructively with government agencies, industry stakeholders and strategic partners on matters affecting our members and the industry. We will also continue to strengthen our role as a platform for networking, knowledge sharing and industry engagement, while supporting the development of future industry leaders.

As the industry continues to evolve, new challenges and opportunities will emerge. As an Association, we must remain relevant, responsive and united in addressing the changing needs of our members and the industry.

Thank you for your continued support, confidence and commitment to BMDAM. I look forward to working together with all members as we build on the strong foundation established over the past fifty years and continue creating greater value for our members and the industry.
